A Place of Pattern

“A Message Carried”.  is a Mixed Media handmade papers and mono printed paper with acrylic portrait..  24 x 24 x 1.5  canvas.

 I believe as an artist I’m also a  storyteller. The story begins with a portrait and then, piece by piece it evolves with layers of texture, mono prints, fabrics, and embellishments.

“A Pattern of Place” reflects the quiet ways I’m shaped by where I live. Surrounded by mountains, the landscape becomes more than scenery—it settles into my memory, rhythm, and heritage. The repeating patterns echoes the landscape, and the feeling of being held within something enduring. Place is not just seen, but carried—woven into where I live and who I am.
