Mother – Artist

I believe when the subject matter is a person, my role as an artist-is a storyteller. Mixed media is the perfect vehicle. The story began with a portrait and then, piece by piece it evolves with layers of  texture, mono prints, fabrics, and embellishments.  

As a mother, she nurtures her children. As a creator, she nurtures her art. Guiding them both from conception to completion with care and devotion. Each involves moments of joy and fulfillment, as well as trials and challenges. Each endeavor enriches her spirit, presenting opportunities for self-discovery, growth, and connection with others.
