Hi, I’m Julie Berry. Curious and creative are two words to describe me. When I’m not creating you’ll find me spending time with Mr. B and my best creations my 5 children and 17 grandchildren.
I’m an artist with a strong faith in God, a deep love for travel, and a movie lover. My happy place is my studio I recently started painting portrait/figure work in oil, acrylics, and mixed media. I find this creative process incredibly interesting and constantly evolving. I believe when the subject matter is a person, my role as an artist-is a storyteller. Mixed media is the perfect vehicle. The story begins with a portrait and then, piece by piece it evolves with layers of texture, monoprints, fabrics, and embellishments. What story do you see?
